Great day for a sail!

Alex is visiting <happy dance!> and this was his first sunset:

Seven Mile Bridge at sunset (again)
Conditions were great for an afternoon sail, so after we met with a canvas expert, we set off!
Motoring out the channel

As the water gets deeper, it turns darker blue

Out in the deep water where the "dinner" fish swim
Today was the second time David put his lines out, and wouldn't you know, he caught another fish!  Maybe a small king mackerel?  [Update: we now think it might be a small blue fin tuna.....any expert opinions out there?]
He has pretty blue stripes on top of his back

Sorry, buddy, today wasn't your day.

Very dark flesh (you can almost see the blue striping, far right)
By the time we got back and washed down the boat, our bimini had been repaired and the binnacle cover was altered to fit the new screen.  Pictures of that at a later date......

    1. Hi Mecky! We vacuum sealed and froze that fish (which we now think is a small blue fin tuna) because we already had yellowtail snapper ready for fish tacos last night :)
