Summer bliss on Grand Traverse Bay

On Thursday, I was looking out my window at work and feeling very blue that I wasn't sailing with David when he took our Indy friends out for a sail.  It was a PERFECT wind day.  <sigh> Yesterday, I managed to leave work early but the wind was howling out of the north a little too much for the S2, so we had a quiet little date night at the dock.  Today, however, proved to be another GREAT WIND day.  So, we hopped aboard, threw off the dock lines, and blasted over to Antrim County.

What a day :)

Not a cloud in the sky, got the sun in my eye
(sorry!)

Our friend, Dave, on Seas the Day was enjoying the day, too!

The trusty ol' S2

Sailed over to Antrim County.  This was taken on our way back to Suttons Bay.

WOO-HOO!  Great wind!

Sitting high.  Looking low.

Just a *f*u*n* ride today!

Adjusting from a wheel/helm back to a tiller.....

Clear water in the bay and at the dock.
